THE IMPERATIVE OF STILLNESS
Tamara Mladenović (b.1986) is a contemporary artist based in Serbia. Her abstract work focuses on fluid layers, subtle shifts in tone, and an intuitive flow. Relying on rhythms inspired by nature and cosmic cycles, her paintings explore the themes of time and transformation.
"Painting began as a profound inner imperative to discover my own stillness. After stepping away from a structured career in pharmacy, I found my true sovereignty in front of the blank canvas, realizing that art is, above all, an act of deep, personal liberation.
My intention with every artwork is to clear away the external noise. Through depth, transparency and wavy choreography, I seek to materialize a space for personal resonance - one that connects deeply with the environment and the people who live with these pieces."
